Overview

S602 Multi Switch is a passive 3-channel selector with switching switches. Each channel switches a stereo TRS signal between two destinations with no power required.

Key Features:

  • Passive design—no Eurorack power connection needed

  • Low output impedance (contact resistance only)
  • 3 completely independent channels

Important Notes

Passive Characteristics

• No power connection required

• Input impedance is high (depends on connected device)

• Signal level depends on impedance of connected devices. If too low, increase receiver gain

• Use TRS cables for stereo signals

Switch Operation

• Lower volume before switching to avoid click/pop noise

• For small signals (CV/gate), switching noise is typically not noticeable

• Always monitor volume when switching audio signals

Setup

  1. Mount S602 in your Eurorack case (no power connection needed)
  2. Connect signal source to In1
  3. Connect two destination devices to In2 and Out2
  4. Operate switch to select In2 or Out2
  5. Send signal and verify it routes correctly

Operation Notes

  • Switch to In2: Signal connects to In2
  • Switch to Out2: Signal connects to Out2
  • All three channels operate independently
  • Compatible with audio, CV, gate signals and more

Applications

Audio Routing

Switch one audio output between speakers and headphones, or between two effects units.

CV/Modulation Switching

Switch one LFO between multiple VCF/VCA targets, or distribute gate signals to different devices.

Selector Mode

Use as a passive selector to choose between multiple audio/CV sources.
